The song was released to radio stations on September 26, 2008 in the United States.The lyrics to "Womanizer" were posted on Spears' official website a day earlier.A week before the official premiere, on September 19, 2008 a low quality 40-second clip from "Womanizer" was leaked via Nashville's 107.5 The River.Jive later released a statement to MTV stating that the clip was from the "rough mix" of the track, not the finalized single.The DJ who played the clip was later suspended and fined $250,000 by Jive Records.

Spears' official site has confirmed the song will be released via iTunes on October 7.Jive Records will reportedly release "Womanizer" as a CD single on November 24, 2008 in the United Kingdom.

"Womanizer" debuted on New York City's Z100 on September 26.It was played on Australia's 2Day FM shortly afterwards. According to Billboard, "Womanizer" will have its official television debut on September 29, 2008, on MTV's reality TV show The Hills.

而不是嘈杂地让人忍受不了

旋律好就可以了吗

如果歌词只是几句无聊的的“我爱你”

那还不如别发行

 

  好久没有来过kugoo论坛了，发现以前“健在”的前辈仍然很活跃，他们太伟大了！

  几个月以前从sheryl crow的收集中，偶然中听到了【always on your side】

  大家应该很熟悉sheryl，个人认为她是和shanian一个等级的

  不过另一名和它一起唱这首歌曲的Sting却不太未我所知

  只知道他在乐坛也是有一定年纪，著名作有【shape of my heart】旋律和后街的完全不一样

 

  说了好多废话，真正打动我的是它的歌词

  butterflies are free to fly,so they fly away{之前没有想到过原来蝴蝶是因为自由才飞的，

                                                                 怪不得人类飞不起来}
