1，    unplanned trip与picnic 合并成一道题；

i'd like to tell you an unplanned trip which i had with some of my friends last semester. i didn't plan to go travelling at weekends, but that day one of my friends called and asked me to go to phoenix with them, 'cause they had an extra train ticket. i thought for a while and decided to join them for i had never been to phoenix and it was said that it was a really nice place.

that friday evening, my friends and i went to the train station hurrily and we didn't bring anything with us except a camera and some money.

we spent nearly 12 hrs on the train and arrived in jishou the second morning and took a taxi to phoenix. when we arrived there we all felt tired and had no interest to go sightseeing at all even though it was a nice and traditional town.we went into a local hotel beside the river directly and ordered 2 rooms and took a rest there. we got up to see that it was 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

we then took a walk beside the tuo river and bought some local food and had a picnic at the river bank. we played some games and took some pictures.

time was limited. the second day, we went to the town center and bought some souveniers and had to hurry to train station. we didn't go to the south great wall and old house of shengcongwen, but just had a quick look at the town.

it was really a  pity and that was the only unplanned trip i had. i would never try it again.
2，    电影

to talk about a movie which impressed me the most, there is no one else but YES MAN,which is an old american movie. i saw it last week. it was recommended by one of my teachers.in the movie, kim carley is the main actor. he is a famous comedian in america, and he always makes the audience laught out loudly.

in the film, kim carley was a common person living a boring life.he works in a bank as a clark and he has had no promotion for  many years and his wife divorces him. he is afraid of facing everyting in his life and he refused to hang out with his friends at all. everyday he just stays at home and watch some boring movies to kill the time.

one day one of his friends suggests him to join a yes group. he does it. and in this group he has to say yes to everyone and everything, even when a beggar asks him to give all his money to.

he says yes again and again, to his surprise, his life is changed greatly. he got promotion and a beautiful girlfriend.

that's the movie ,funny and simple. but from the movie, i learned something. i think i should be optimistic in my life. the reason why we may not be happy is because we refuse happiness;attitude should be controled by ourselves then we can control our lives.
3，    电子产品（家里的，学校的），其好处及坏处

a useful equipment i'd like to describe is a pc camera which is a tiny machine but it changed our life greatly.

everyone may have used it to chat with epals and we even can see them by the pc camera. how smart it is! the world is getting small because of it and we can communicate with anyone in every corner of the world.

in the past it was incrediale to see others abroad and people who were studying abroad seemed to be mysterious cause we didn't know what it  was like. but now, we can see a lot of people studying abroad. pc camera is not the reason why there are so many people studying abroad, but i think it does reduce the distance between people and people and this may be a reason why some parents would support their kids to go there. because they can see each other everyday , just like they are next door.

pc camera is a  tiny equipment but it's really helpful.
4，    Party

I am not a person who is keen to parties, so actually, I don’t join parties very often, cause I had a really embarrassing experience for party.

It happen a few years ago, when I graduated from high school. The class organized a graduation party and everyone was crazy about it. We discussed and planned a lot about that. we wanted to be pretty and outstanding on that day and also wanted to be different from what we were in school. I was really interested in high-heeled shoes, cause I think it is the crucial why some ladies could be that elegant, therefore, I bought a pair of beautiful high-heeled which cost me a lot of money at that time.

On the day, I put them on and had a very beautiful dress, which I think I am really lady like. When I arrived in the classroom to have the party, I was astonished that everyone else was in uniform. Only me was really outstanding but embarrassed.

I didn’t remember what happened that evening, but I did remember how upset and embarrassed I was. From that time on, I seldom go to parties any more. That is the most unforgettable one I have had so far.

when i get this topic, i feel very happy, coz i am a person who likes talking and chatting with others very much. so i have had a lot of interesting talk with others.now i 'd like to tell you an interesting talk i had with my friend Lucy.

it was in last August. at that time, i just came back from hospital when i lucy came to visit me at home. i couldn't recogonise her when she entered into my room--- she was totally different from what she used to be. she looked really nice---dark skin and good shape. i couldn't imagine thought about the former lucy. she used to be very fat and stout, who always stayed at home and never did any sports.

she understood my surprise and we began talking about the way how could she be so. actually, i forgot to tell you that the reason i was in hospital was because i did some stupid thing to lose weight, and i got some illness but didn't lose any weight.  she said that she went to a yoga club with her sister. she practised it everyday since then.

she told me that yoga seemed not to be very tiring but after she practised for a week, she found that every muscle in her whole body was sour. she was going to give up but she envied those who were slimmer. she kept on it and finally, she successully lost 10 kgs after 2 months.

10kgs within 2 months! you couldn't imagine how incredible it is to me. i tried many ways to lose weight, but never managed to lose even 5 kgs. i became enthusiastic about yoga the next day.

7,童年

相信这道题是跟童年的一首歌和童年的游戏结合起来的，那大家就把我给大家分析过的这两道题结合起来讲吧，你童年最喜欢做的事情就是唱歌和玩游戏，玩的是hide and seek， 唱的是merry christmas 或者london bridge is falling down。

Developing countries require international organisations’ help to ensure healthy and sustainable development. Some people think that financial aid is important. Others believe that practical aid and advice is more important. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. (February 7, 2009, June 28, 2009)

Today, it is not unusual that countries join relief efforts in another country, mostly one plagued by natural disasters. At times, international aid expands to cover a broad range of areas, such as infrastructure and public service of recipient countries. Critics, however, question these practices by arguing that international aid, despite the tremendous effort made by donor countries, is not likely to benefit every individual in the world. In my opinion, this argument is ill-conceived.
 
International aid is very often delivered to boost the development of a country in the long run, so whether it yields immediate benefits for every citizen is not a matter of importance. A classic example to illustrate this is the money spent by some international organisations on a country’s infrastructure, namely, communications, transport and power supplies. While this kind of investment is not aimed at individual citizens, it is the precondition for a country’s long-term prosperity.
 
Besides, the world is increasingly interconnected, so the plight of one country can evolve and eventually affect the rest of the world. In simple terms, any attempt to contain a problem that spreads in one country is meanwhile an effective self-rescue technique. In 2008, IMF injected enormous liquidity in some Eastern European countries in an effort to prevent their central banks from collapsing. The stability of these countries helped avoid further turmoil of the world’s financial industry and led to the world’s a faster-than-expected recovery from the economic crisis. In this globalised world, there is no ground for working in isolation and keeping blind to other countries’ issues.
 
Helping other countries in troubled times also reveals human kindness. Humans have traditions of helping those vulnerable to natural disasters, epidemics and poverty. This is a universally treasured value. Countries that promise to support less developed members of the global community are sometimes motivated by this moral principle. They would not discontinue this cause simply because there is a long queue for aid while aid is scarce.
 
Beyond any doubt, any person who has these facts in mind would agree that countries should help each other, not only because this is essential to the advance of the world’s well-being but also because it is an expression_r_r of humans’ philanthropic disposition.

大意是工业发展起了服装产业的变化吧。
第一个空是填manufacture吧，我拼写是抄的后面的。以前一直针对的是women的市场，还有适合outdoors穿的。
然后是两道选择，一个是关于工业兴起后带来的关注的问题吧。另一个不记得了。我觉得还有一个是哪里要填analyise的好像……
然后反过来是配对，给了4个职位，有6个选项让你选美个职位是干啥的。第一个是tech textile，后面的不记得了，因为都不认识……坍台阿

第一篇关于blue-footed bobbies
有选标题，3道t/f，一个summary填空（原文中找词）

第一段大概是说它们怎么捕鱼，然后当岸上有足够的吃的时候它们就会回来产仔了？
第二段说了三种分类。
第三段，是题目的例子，说了命名的由来。然后提到他们没怎么见过人类（这一点后面的t/f考了，问他们是不是害怕人类）
第四段是说了它们怎么找配偶产仔（summary里考了），产蛋之后他们居然不建窝（summary里考了）
第五段是说怎么孵蛋，用布满blood vessels（summary里考了）的孵蛋保暖，所以公的喜欢找脚大的母的。
第六段说喂养幼仔，刚开始公的不停的找小鱼，因为幼仔需要定时吃不少东西。等幼仔长大一点了之后母的就会去远一点的海里找食物。（这里说母的比公的体型大，t/f里问是不是母的吃的比公的多）
第七段说在食物短缺的时候他们会主要喂先孵出来的那个，这样可以保证至少有一个的存活率。

第二篇，关于计算器
有4个配对（就是选哪段包括选项给出的内容，都是集中在文章前半部分的，最后一个是倒数第二段的）。
有根据文章内容进行填空，就是关于主人公研制的两个机器，后一个是anaylist machine。
有3道按文章内容回答问题，有字数规定。

全文的大意如下：
工业革命之后，银行业等多个行业需要计算的东西越来越多。这个时候依靠的是human 'computer'，靠很多人把问题分成很多小部分，分别计算然后最后汇总结果，这样势必导致了累积的误差。（问答题里考了，是哪类人进行这种计算，我填的teenagers）

然后我们的主人公出场了，他爸是个很穷的银行小职员所以它不能继承他爸的职业。作为剑桥的学生，他发现了第一段里的问题，然后成立了一个社团(问答题里问了是哪个organization)

然后他就发明了初级版本的机器，大概叫difference machine
。包括gears,axles。可以完成第一段里那么多人做的工作。

可是，他和团队里的chief engineer发生了争执，（大概是因为人家发现了一个更好的东西），然后人家想改进出anaylist machine的，但是因为和主人公的不愉快和政府的迟疑阻碍了这东西生产。欧，这里还说anaylist machine类似于现在我们用的电脑里的central processor（填空里考了）

我们的主人公把视野投向了其他领域。因为一次火车的事故使得他觉得应该在交通工具上装上这种有分析能力的机器，这样可以及时提醒以避免问题的交通事故的发生。（后面有问，主人公觉得应该装什么在交通工具上呀？）

最后一段，讲又有一个人根据这些原理设计出了一个什么东西可以计算上涨和下降的趋势的。

根据原文填空有字数限定的，好像是不超2个。

第三篇  是电影产业
大意是探讨电影的市场占有率降低的原因，包括成本高（相对于其他的大卖场什么的而言），制作的公司少（一共就5个）缺少创意和竞争力。然后发行商对于电影的放映时间也有要求。

时间紧，文章我没有认真看，我是直接作题的……（就是按自己的逻辑）然后实在吃不准的再回原文翻。因为之前我以为反过来就没有了，还沾沾自喜类……因为匆忙，具体题目不大记得了。
有三道还是四道的Y/N的判断，三道还是四道的选择题。
我讲到的大意基本上就是考到的内容……

I would like to tell you a different journey that I would remember forever. I went to mountain climbing with my classmates last May Day. This was the first time I climbed mountain without my father’s help. It’s so hard for me to fish this tough task because I was a little weak at that time as a result of lacking of doing exercises. The mountain is too high to move on. However, my classmates were so excited that they didn’t realize I was so tired. I tried my best to climb to the top of the mountain and had a rest. I would like to share one with you one of my happy experiences in my childhood. When I was in primary school, the activity of visiting museum in my city was held by our school. It was said that the aim was to arise the pride of the long history of our country. There were so many antiquities of Song Dynasty in the museum, such as Bian embroider, jade stone and so on. We were all shocked by the things that were never seen before. At the same time, all of us know Song Dynasty well. Above all, it is a very meaningful activity through which we learnt more knowledge that couldn’t get from the books.

Nowadays Chinese parents are paying more attention to kids’ education ,the first reason is that people are getting rich and they don’t need to worry about how to feed their kids with limited income any more.The second reason is that people are more aware of the importance of early-age education. The last reason I think is that the one-child police has been carried out by the government , having only one child makes the parents want to offer their kids all they have to make their kids feel happy and get better opportunities.

The movie’s beginning is a symbol of the process of life, a feather flying on the sky floating everywhere without directions and was blown by the strong winds. Jenny gives him confidence and their kid is so smart. It is a comedy to some extend. Movie is not a way to relax but also provides us advices.

As for the sports event, I would like to talk about the hottest one during these days. It is the NBA competition between the team Rocket and LAL. However, after the first competition, all of the audience cheered for the victory of Rocket and changed their views, for all of the members of the Rocket tried their best to win the game even though some of the members hurt badly. Now the result is 3:3. In the following days, the fierce competition will go on and I really expect the team Rocket can win the game because I am moved deeply by the persistence of all the team members

It is the fact that more and more people are eating outside during noon time as the population of whitecolars  who work in companies climbs sharply as the development of the society .Those people have to choose to eat outside because of the limited time they have for  lunch..However, it is a tradition for chinese families to gather together and eat together, so people try to eat with their families as long as they get the opportunities .

Personaly, I prefer to eat at home not only because it is cleaner and healthier ,but I am lucky enough to have the opportunities to eat with my family comparing with the white colars I mentioned earlier. I know if I start to work, there will be lots of compromises I have to make, I may no longer to be able to eat with my family very often, so I cherish every opportunity to eat at home with my family,plus, no one cooks better than my mom!

When he stepped onto the stage, all the audiences were laughing at him as well as the judges. But the moment he opened his mouth, the fabulous melody and the striking voice conquered everybody there, all the people stood up and applauded for a long time. He sang the famous opera: nessum dorma. From Paul I learned that we can never judge a book by its cover, and chances always give people who are prepared.

Today I would like to talk about a famous statue named Manneken Pis, which is a famous landmark of Brussels, Belgium. It is a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain’s basin.
There are several legends behind this statue, but the most famous is the one about Duke Godfrey III of Leuven. In 1142, the troops of this two-year-old lord were battling against the troops of the sBerthouts, the lords of Grimbergen, in Ransbeke (now Neder-over-Heembeek). The troops put the infant lord in a basket and hung the basket in a tree to encourage them. From there, the boy urinated on the troops of the Berthouts, who eventually lost the battle.
I appreciate the little boy’s braveness. He is the bravest and cutest boy ever.

As for the thing that I want to buy, I would like to tell you that the thing I want to buy is a house in the city.
You know, I am a girl of a small village and our house is very far from the city. Therefore, it is not convenient for our family to buy things. The situation of ill treating is not very good either. What’s more, the age of my parents is getting bigger and bigger, so if we move to the city it will be more convenient for them to go shopping and do some thing else. As for sports, I would like to talk about the sporting competition I entered. It was the competition of basketball.

第一题问的是在初期这个动物区是计划用来做什么的,我选了A RESEARCH,题目中有干扰说现在是用于EDUCATION (C),不知道做的对否. 第二题问的是现在这个国家和别的国家就这方面有什么EXCHANGE,我选了A) WILDLIFE SPECIES,另有B是PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE,还有一个C不记得了. 第三题是问选址中最大的问题是什么,这个也在A和C上犹豫了半天,A是有陡坡,我选了这个,C是说没有SOIL. 第四个是关于SOIL的,选了A (用一种新的方法制造),文中提到有一个很大的设备用来制造SOIL,最后一题问的是这个制造SOIL的机器,给人第一感觉是什么,选的是B)SIZE,文中用的词是SCALE. 后面是三个填空,第一个是说这个地方一年只CLOSE ___ DAYS A YEAR, 只听到一年二个假期关闭,也没听清几天,就请了二天,汗! 第二题是说什么时间去比较好,应该写是AFTER LUNCH,第三个是有SPECIAL BUSES, 最后一题是5-16岁的TICKET价格,应该是$4.

第一篇是关于竹子的，一开始说竹子是某些地方动物和人的重要食物来源，但竹子由于人口等问题而大大减少。然后说对于竹子的研究还处于基础阶段，然后是竹子对大自然的好处，竹子的商业价值，与其他脆弱的植物比较等等。
题型包括matching，段落与句子搭配，人物与话搭配。以及简答两道，在中间部分。一个是问竹子的根解决那个生态问题，是【soil erosion】,另一个是竹子的哪个用途的市场迅速扩大，是【paper】

先讲了葡萄作为饮料，里面有一种天然的物质，【maringin】什么的，发出苦味。然后讲苦味可以消除，很多植物都有苦味，使动物觉得它们【poisonous】，人类就不同了，一些人喜欢苦味，比如咖啡。人们对于苦味的感觉是【genetic】，一些特别敏感的人被称作【supertasters】（有没s不记得）,然后将舌头感觉味道的过程，在舌头上的【taste buds】（unsure）里的接受细胞感觉味道，然后讲到有一种G protein是感觉苦味的，AMP什么的是制造出来可以消除一部分苦味的。

Well, just like every girl in the world, I collect so many clothes. One of them is so special, which is a dress for formal event. The dress is designed by my best friend whose major is clothes designing in a university. Last year I was invited to a wedding ceremony of my friend. At that time I was a girl who only wears tees and jeans every day. According to the letter, I was required to wear dress to show my respect to her great wedding ceremony which gave me such a big problem. Luckily, my future designer friend designed a wonderful dress for me which match me very well. The dress is made of red silk, my favorite color, with a white flower on the left shoulder. When I was appeared at the ceremony in the dress, the bride was totally shocked. From then on, I changed my style of clothes a little bit. Last week watched a play, named Jia, which means home in English. My friend Tracy was one of the actresses in the play. So I was luckily to get a ticket for free. The play is about a tragedy of a big family. I’ve seen three versions of the play, science it’s such famous in Chinese literature history. This is the most special one in my point of views because it was played, directed and organized by university students. Although the stage is very simple and small, their performance is as professional as the trained actors and actresses. The second scene was the death of a young lady. The actor played his sorrow very naturally so that a lot of audients began to cry with him. My friend played a maid of the main character. Although she was not the leading actress, she still practiced hard in her spare time. And surely, her performance is excellent. I am so proud of her.

Yesterday I got a piece of interesting news in a TV program which is about a family and a tiger. Three months ago, a famer found an animal when he was on his way to work. He said the animal was so cute, just like a wild cat. He thought this must be a little kitty that was abandoned by her mother. The animal was so poor, looking at him with its big eyes. With a strong sense of being a famer, he decided to take the animal home as a pet. All his families love this new family member very much. The little guy grown fast day after day, and soon it became to be a big cat. Every day, the cat had to eat three chickens. The famer fell that something must be wrong. Therefore he asked a professor to see what exactly the cat was. To be surprise, the “so called” cat is actually a white tiger which is very hard to find in China now. The professor suggested that he could send the tiger to the zoo; otherwise it would be very dangerous for his families and his neighbors. Although he loves the tiger so much, he finally decided to donate his favorite pet to the national zoo. Luckily, he could go to the zoo to take care of the tiger for several months.

Well, there are so many laws and policies in China. Today, I’d like to introduce you a law about education. According to this law, children in the city who are over 6 years must go to school. In the countries, the family with financial problems could send their children to school when they are 7 years old. And from year one to year nine, the tuition fees are free. This law provides protection to the education rights of our Chinese citizens so that every children could enjoy professional education at their schooling age. Last week I saw a piece of news on TV. A girl took the legal action to against her step mother who forced her stopping going to school. Her step mother wanted the girl work as a junior employee in her restaurant. But she was finally punished according to the law and the girl went back to school with the help of local government.

I would like to tell you an unforgettable travelling that I would remember forever. I went to mountain song with my classmates last May Day. This was the first time I climb mountain without my father’s help. It’s so hard for me to fish this tough task because I was a little weak at that time as a result of lacking of doing exercises. The mountain is too high to move on. However, my classmates were so excited that they didn’t realize I was so tired. I tried my best to climb to the top of the mountain and had a rest. Well, I would like to tell my grandfather who is very strict with me. He is very tall and strong and has a typical Chinese face. I took part in an English speaking contest. And that was my very first time I delivered speech in the public. The title of my speech was “Globalization”. I prepared it for nearly a week, I recited it very well before the contest. The moment I walked to the stage I felt dizzy by the spotlight and I took a deep breath to felt more calm. I started to deliver my speech with loud voice and some kind of gesture. I still remember clearly that the audiences and the judges were smiling at me. But when I still left one paragraph to finish the speech, blank hit my mind, I could not remember one word, I was anxious and almost cry, and the embarrassment lasted for nearly one minute! I made up some sentences to finish it. But the audiences still gave me warm applause. I got the second prize that time.
