Nowadays, the issue of whether carnivorous diet or vegetarian diet is superior attracts people’s attention. An increasing number of people argue that vegetarian diet should be attached more significance. Whereas,  there is a growing opposition.  To my mind, the former view does hold water.

Fundamentally, 3 advantages of vegetarian diet are responsible for the statement. First and foremost, vegetarian diet is a religion-related diet. For those who don’t=>are not allowed to eat meat in their religion they have to have vegetarian diet. Furthermore, the vegetarian believe a meat-oriented diet can result in weakness, obesity, evils and diabetes.  According to a recent report from CNRC(China Nutrition Research Center), approximately 75% people got cancer due to their meat-oriented diet. Last but not least, the vegetarian emphasize that animals’ right to live plays a significant role.  They believe that human and animals have equal right to live.

On the contrary, there are several advantages for carnivorous diet. On one hand, it is such a natural food chain that we get nutrition from meat-oriented diet such as protein, vitamin and minerals. On the other hand, carnivorous diet is a requirement of a balanced diet. The strength of carnivorous diet is exactly what the vegetarian diet lacks. That is to say, they represent substitution relationship.

Given the reasons discussed above, we can safely say that although both sides have own upsides and downsides, the vegetarian diet plays an increasingly more vital role in our life. As a result, due measures should be taken as soon as possible. For example, it is advisable for the government to endeavor to put related factors on the right track. Only by this way we can overcome the possible and potential problems.
